Binh Dinh Union of Science and Technology Associations has implemented the project on reducing the sea-level rise impacts to sustainably develop agricultural production and ensure food security in Phuoc Hoa commune.

The project aims to develop the community-based sustainable production models and curb consequences caused by floods and sea water rising, ensuring the food security and stable income for farmers in Phuoc Hoa commune.

The Global Environment Facility's Small Grants Programme (GEF/SGP) funded VND1.5 billion to the project, which is expected to be carried out from November, 2009 to April, 2012.

This is the sixth project sponsored by GEF/SGP.
