15th Dong Son kettle drum found by Con River

Another kettle drum was found by the Con River in the central province of Binh Dinh.

The diameter of the drum is about 67 cm with a shape of the sun in the middle. On the surface there are many V-shaped patterns, shapes of birds, parallel designs, and various images around.

The kettledrum is believed is a cultural symbol of Dong Son culture, dated over 2,000 years ago. This is the 15th Dong Son kettledrum discovered in Binh Dinh.
