Climate change mitigation project kicks off

The Binh Dinh Union of Science and Technology Associations on Dec.21 held a meeting to start the climate change mitigation project.

The project is aimed at minimizing the effects of sea-level rise to sustainably develop the agricultural production and ensure food safety in Tuy Phuoc district’s Phuoc Hoa commune.

The community-based adaptation to climate change (CBA)-funded project has the capital of US$50,000, let alone the corresponding capital from the province.

The project has been implemented since November, 2009 and finished by 2012.
