Work begins on Tien Thuan hydro-electric plant

The construction of Tien Thuan hydro-electric plant at an estimated cost of VND234 billion began in Tay Thuan commune in Tay Son district on December 27.

The Tien Thuan power plant is designed to have a total capacity of 10 MW to generate 40 million KW of electricity a year.

Once completed in late 2011, the plant will supply electricity to the national power grid and serve agriculture in Tay Thuan commune.
