Work to begins on construction of non-tariff zone

The construction of non-tariff zone project is scheduled to kick off on January 20, 2010 when the conference on investment promotion in Binh Dinh takes place.

Khang Thong Service-Trade-Construction Joint Stock Company, the project owner, will invest in building the non-tariff zone in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.

Also, the non-tariff zone is expected to be closely connected to the industrial zone and deep-water port on an area of 600 hectares.

There will be various industries and services, such as biological technology, mechanic technology, and telecommunications, following the operation of the non-tariff zone, industrial zone, and deep-water port.

Binh Dinh is one of five provinces in the central key economic region having potential and advantages for the socio-economic development. The non-tariff zone will be the driving force for its development when in full operation in the future.
