220th anniversary of Ngoc Hoi-Dong Da Victory celebrated

The 220th anniversary of Ngoc Hoi-Dong Da Victory was solemnly held on Jan. 30 at Quang Trung Museum, Tay Son District.

Many leaders, local residents, and visitors attended the ceremony.

The celebration began with the Quang Trung and national flags raising ceremony. Provincial Chairman Nguyen Van Thien then delivered a speech reviewing the Tay Son Uprising and Ngoc Hoi-Dong Da victory.

Thien called on the whole province to overcome difficulties and take advantage of its potential to contribute to the province’s development.

Many festivities then took place with various contents, such as the opening of the festival, Tay Son spirit, historical battles, and other programs.

The flower and incense offering ceremony had taken place on Jan. 29 at Quang Trung Museum, expressing gratitude for the ancestor.

Many art performances and gong dances were also held during two day-event.
