A ceremony was held in Tay Vinh commune, Tay Son District on Feb. 26 to commemorate the Binh An massacre taking place 43 years ago.

During the Vietnam war, over 1,000 innocent locals in Binh An (Tay Vinh today) were killed by South Korean mercenary soldiers. Most of them were old people, women, and children.

At the ceremony, Tay Vinh’s leader delivered a speech condemning the massacre as bloody crime. Participants then burned incense and prayed for the murdered civilians.
