Management Board representatives presented the operation of enterprises in Phu Tai and Long My IZs. 129 companies have registered to invest in two IZs so far, according to the reports.

However, many of them are now facing difficulties in operating. The IZs’ industrial production value got VND285.9 trillion in the first two months of 2009, a decrease of 5.21%. The export turnover reached US$35.91 million only.

Thien also visited some enterprises in two IZs. At present, the business operation is facing difficulties; whilst, order contracts are becoming rare.
