VND23 bn for job support
17:7', 2/4/ 2009 (GMT+7)

Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee has decided to allocate VND23 billion from the National Fund for Job Promotion 2009 to 11 Districts, city, and the province’s VACVINA, aiming to create new jobs for 4,600 people.

About 4,000 laborers have been laid off since early this year, particularly those who worked at wood manufacturers, according to the province’s Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs.

There have been more lay-offs because wood exporters in Binh Dinh haven’t found any orders.
