Free operation offered to poor patients

Quy Nhon Health Center will offer free plastic surgery to 50 poor patients with cleft lip and palate on May 5.

The Smile Train, a US-based charity, will donate US$10,000 to the operation. It is also helping other hospitals nationwide to provide free cleft surgery for patients.

The Smile Train has been operating in nine countries, including Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Philippines, and Thailand.
