Binh Dinh People’s Committee held a meeting marking the World Environment Day in Quy Nhon city on June 5.
Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Le Huu Loc and representatives of bodies and agencies attended the meeting.
Loc asked bodies and agencies of all levels to focus on raising the people’s awareness of Law on Environment Protection.
It’s also necessary to popularize causes and impacts of environmental pollution and climate change, said Loc.
People are encouraged to join environment protection events and economically use the natural resources, he added.
Representatives of Quy Nhon city People’s Committee and Binh Dinh Industrial Zone Authority also delivered speeches, responding to the message of the UN Environment Program.
Other activities also took place in the province on June 5, responding to the World Environment Day.
