Over VND32 bln for social welfare program in An Lao

More than VND32 billion will be invested in the social welfare program for the poor in An Lao district, using the loans funded by the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam and other sources.

The program aims to improve the infrastructure, housing for the poor, and the living standard and reduce the poverty quickly and sustainably.

Under the plan, nine schools will be built and upgraded, the infrastructure of nine health stations at grass roots level will be improved.

Also, poor households will be aided to build new houses.
