400 Sa Huynh artefacts on display

An exhibition entitled “Sa Huynh culture” has taken place at Quang Ngai Museum since July 22.

Departments of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of three central provinces of Quang Ngai, Quang Nam, and Binh Dinh coordinated to hold the event.

Nearly 400 Sa Huynh culture-dated artefacts, including jars, jar shaped coffins, axes, hoes, jewellery and weapons made from stone, animal bones, glass, terracotta, and bronze were showcased on an area of 200 sq.m.

Among them, 100 items belong to Quang Ngai Museum, 50 come from Quang Nam Museum, and Binh Dinh Museum brought 25 objects to the exhibition, let along 250 artefacts belonging to antique collector Lam Du Xenh.
