Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung on July 27 received the delegation of Australian Foundation for the Peoples of Asia and the Pacific (AFAP).

Two sides talked about the “climate change adaptation in Binh Dinh” project and the cooperation with relevant bodies.

Dung briefed them on the province’s climate change. The province has been severely affected by climate change in the past few years, particularly flood and storms.

Areas in Tuy Phuoc district’s Phuoc Son and Phuoc Thuan where low-income people are living most likely suffer from disasters.

AFAP representative Han Van Khoat also raised some questions on procedures for investment projects.
