VND365 bln invested in irrigation works in mountainous areas

Binh Dinh has invested VND365 billion in building reservoirs, canals, and dams in mountainous districts of Vinh Thanh, Hoai An, and Van Canh since the project on socio-economic development in mountainous areas was implemented in 2000.

The irrigation works have been in fully operation, providing water for 5,600 ha of crops. Farmers could effectively improve their agricultural production.
