22 disabled children receive free surgery

Catholic Relief Services (CRS), a US-based NGO, coordinated with Binh Dinh General Hospital to offer surgery to 22 disabled children in five communes in Phu Cat district from August 12-16.

All fees for the treatment was fully sponsored by CRS.

This is one of components of the “integration education and community-based support for disabled children in dioxin-affected areas” project implemented by CRS in Phu Cat from September, 2008 to December, 2009.
