National plan on biodiversity implemented

The Environment Protection Agency under the province’s Department of Natural Resources and Environment on August 24 held a workshop on implementing the Law on Biodiversity and National plan on Biodiversity till 2010 and orientation to 2020.

Representatives of provincial bodies and agencies attended the meeting.

Participants were provided with the information about the Law on Biodiversity and National plan on Biodiversity till 2010 and orientation to 2020.

Also, the Convention on Biodiversity and Cartagena Protocol on biosafety were mentioned at the meeting.
