15 solid waste treatment areas planned

Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee has ratified the overall plan for the management of solid waste in urban areas and industrial zones till 2020.

Under the plan, 15 solid waste treatment areas will be built in Binh Dinh until 2020, covering an area of 225 hectares.

These include a 70-ha solid waste treatment complex in Cat Nhon commune, Phu Cat district, 14 solid waste treatment areas in other districts and city, and four medical solid waste incinerators.

As planned, solid waste treatment areas will be newly built in five districts of Hoai Nhon, Phu My, Phu Cat, An Nhon, and Tay Son from now to 2015.

The capital is estimated to reach 1,610 trillion VND.
