Permanent Deputy Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Pham Van Thanh and Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung on Sep.22 went on an inspection tour about the implementation of tasks for socio-economic development, national defense and security, and flood and storm prevention in Tuy Phuoc district.

The report said that the district’s economy has considerably grown in the past nine months. The value of agro-forest and aqua production was estimated to reach over VND414 billion, accounting for 92.26 percent of the yearly plan.

Social and cultural activities got more advances. Also, the national defense and security have been strengthened.

Still, the construction and industrial production value didn’t met the demand as expected, let alone the spread of epidemic in agriculture and aquaculture.

Concluding the meeting, Thanh said that the remaining tasks would be rough in the last three months, requiring the district’s leaders to make every effort to finish.

The district also needs to focus on the disaster prevention and land use, he added.
