On the occasion, Hai and his entourage visited the country’s largest semi-processed titanium slag factory conducted by Saigon – Quy Nhon Mining Corporation (SQC).

The factory has an initial capacity of 24,000 tons of titanium plus 12,000 tons of high-intensity steel per year. About VND500 billion was spent on the first phase of the project, whose total cost will amount to a total VND1 trillion, according to the investor.

The Deputy PM said SQC must give more attention to the effectiveness of the project and safely run the factory to process titanium into highly valuable product.

He had also attended the groundbreaking ceremony for Nhon Hoi EZ’s non-tariff zone before being present at the investment promotion conference in Binh Dinh 2010.
