A ceremony was held at Quy Nhon city’s Victory Square on October 1, welcoming revolutionary heroes and Vietnamese heroic mothers who came from southern provinces and joined the journey to Ha Noi on the occasion of the millennium anniversary.
The delegation attended the flower offering ceremony held in front of the statue of Victory with the participation of provincial Chairman Nguyen Van Thien.
Binh Dinh’s 7 revolutionary heroes and 5 Vietnamese heroic mothers also joined the journey then.
After the ceremony, the 400-member-delegation continued their journey to Ha Noi to attend the celebration of the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long – Ha Noi.
