VND6.6 bln added to rural water, sanitation programme

VND6.6 billion has been allocated to localities in Binh Dinh, using the additional source of capital from the national target programme for rural water supply and environmental sanitation.

Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will receive over VND1.7 billion while the Department of Education and Training will be offered nearly VND3 billion to build water supply and sanitation works at schools.

Also, the Department of Health will be provided with VND200 million to implement the household sanitation model.

The financial assistance will also be allocated to some districts, helping them upgrade the water supply system in some areas.
