A meeting was held in Quy Nhon city on October 11 with the participation of some provincial leaders and 200 local businessmen, celebrating the Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (Oct. 13).
Vice Director of Da Nang-based affiliate of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Nguyen Dien delivered a speech, underscoring the significance of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day and the role of Vietnamese businessmen in the central region.
According to the report, the VCCI’s representative office in Binh Dinh has attracted nearly 150 members since it was set up in 2003. It hosted many events, such as trade promotion, investment promotion, seminars, and training courses for firms’ leaders in Binh Dinh.
Provincial Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh praised the contributions of entrepreneurs and businesses to the province’s socio-economic development. They not only contribute to the local budget but play a key role in the poverty alleviation, she said.
Also, 58 outstanding entrepreneurs were honored at the meeting.
