The Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung has just ordered Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to allocate 121 tonnes of chlorine from national reserves for provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Thua Thien Hue, Soc Trang, Ninh Thuan, Ca Mau, Vinh Long and Binh Dinh, in which Binh Dinh will receive 20 tonnes of chlorine. The chemical will be used in aquatic disease prevention and control.

Binh Dinh enjoys 2 good crops of shrimp farming this year because the local shrimp breeders use chlorine in decontamination of their shrimp ponds and relevant authorities effectively control the aquatic diseases, significantly reducing areas of contagious water in comparison to previous years.
