Center for hematology, blood transfusion to be set up

Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh and the delegation of National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion led by its head Nguyen Anh Tri agreed to establish a center for hematology and blood transfusion in Binh Dinh General Hospital at a meeting yesterday.

Tri asked the provincial leaders to soon promulgate the decision on establishing the center and provide the Binh Dinh General Hospital with preferential policies, manpower, and essential facilities.

The National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion will assist the center in human resource training, management and propagation.

Provincial Vice Chairwoman Binh said that the construction of the center has been proposed and the problems with its operation will be resolved. The center will be given priorities in manpower training and attraction.
