VND150 bn asked for flood aftermath in Binh Dinh

The Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee petitioned the Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and Control to ask the Government to provide Binh Dinh with VND150 billion and 3,000 tons of rice, helping its flood victims.

Binh Dinh also asked for thousands of doses of vaccine, aiming to cope with the diseases in cattle and livestock after the flood had ended.

The rainfall has decreased in the past three days; however, many residential areas in districts of Tuy Phuoc and Phu Cat have still been submerged by water.

According to preliminary statistics, the floods caused severe damage which is estimated at over VND513 billion..

At present, the relief aids have being offered to people living in the isolated areas. The local authorities and people are dealing the flood aftermath.
