Over 5,739ha of forest grown

As in the 2010 plan, 42,991 hectares of forest land would be allocated to people for management and protection, 52,034.08 hectares for reforestation and 4,000 hectares for new forestation. Localities in the province have performed well all the tasks of the forest management and protection, reforestation and new forestation. Over 5,739 hectares of forest have been grown so far.

The provincial agricultural agencies will keep on guiding farmers to take care and manage the forests in conformity to required techniques of intensive farming, concentrate on education campaigns to raise people’s awareness about the forest management and protection…
