The Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee has promulgated a plan to implement a project to develop the social worker profession during the 2010-2020 period in Binh Dinh.
The province will spend an estimated expense of VND41 billion on developing social work into a profession, raise the awareness of the entire society about the social work profession and build a strong contingent of social workers in both quality and quantity.
The role and importance of the social work and the development of social workers will be the focus in the 2010-2015 period; whilst, the 2016-2020 period will see a strong contingent of social workers, the spread of social work-related services across the province, and the socialization of social work activities.
