Eight schools which were funded by the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam to be upgraded or newly built were put in use in An Lao district on November 29.

They include three primary schools, one secondary school, and some boarding school for ethnic students.
The schools are expected to improve the quality of teaching and learning in mountainous communes in An Lao.
