14:10', 8/12/ 2010 (GMT+7)

The management board for the second phase of the Fisheries Sector Programme Support (FSPS II) organized a seminar in Quy Nhon on December 7, addressing vulnerable risks and communication strategies for the fishery sector in responding to climate change and sea level rise in Binh Dinh.

The participants talked about the effects of climate change on sea resources and aquatic products, measures to adapt to climate change, the sea level rise in coastal areas, and community-based communication strategies to cope with climate change.

The representatives of relevant bodies and localities also asked functional bodies to work out solutions to effectively deal with climate change, protecting fishermen.
