US$65 million added to environmental hygiene improvement in central coast area

The World Bank (WB) agreed to add over US$65 million for the project to improve environmental hygiene in the central coast area of Vietnam.

The capital source will be distributed to such three cities: US$14 million for Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa province), US$20 million for Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh province) and US$31 million for Dong Hoi City (Quang Binh province).

The project has been in operation since June 2007, with the aim of increasing living standards for people in the central coast area. It had an initial investment of US$172 million supported by the WB.
