The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam’s (BIDV) Binh Dinh branch on December 9 signed a contract, funding the programmes for the makeshift and dilapidated house elimination and “BIDV scholarship”.

The branch will fund VND4.6 billion to eliminate 460 makeshift and dilapidated houses in two districts of Hoai An and Phu Cat.

Also, the province’s Fund for Study Encouragement will receive VND1 billion for the “BIDV scholarship” program.

BIDV had offered VND32 billion to Binh Dinh, helping the province carry out the “social welfare” program.
