Poor, disabled people receive gifts

HCMC-based Tu Hieu pagoda’s charity and Binh Dinh Red Cross visited and presented 400 gifts to local people in Vinh Thinh commune, Vinh Thanh district on December 11.

Another charity belonging to the HCMC-based Van Thien pagoda and Binh Dinh Red Cross had also presented 200 gifts to the locals in two communes of Tay Binh and Tay Vinh, Tay Son district on December 10.

An overseas Vietnamese in the US, namely Giang Ngoc Tuyet, also sent US$200 to her friends to buy 21 gifts and present them to poor households and disabled people in wards of Le Hong Phong, Dong Da, and Bui Thi Xuan, Quy Nhon city.
