NA’s Committee for Social Issues make inspection tour in Binh Dinh

As part of the working visit on the use of social insurance fund in Binh Dinh, the National Assembly’s (NA) Committee for Social Issues held a meeting with the province’s Social Insurance Agency on December 16.

According to the reports, a total of over VND375 billion came from compulsory social insurance in 2010, including more than VND307 billion from the retirement and death fund, over VND51 billion from the illness and pregnancy fund, and VND17 billion from the industrial accident and occupational disease fund.

The agency also reported the social insurance debt of more than VND41 billion from 584 companies. A total of VND1.68 billion was collected from voluntary social insurance and VND40 billion was taken from unemployment insurance.

Two sides talked about some problems, suggestions and measures in the province’s social insurance management.
