The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just held a workshop in Quy Nhon city, aiming to popularize the commitments of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) in which Vietnam participated.

The workshop helped businesses to know more about the benefits of bilateral FTAs between Vietnam and other countries as well as between ASEAN and China, Japan, India, Australia, and New Zealand.

The commitments to tax, services and Vietnam’s investment and regulations on certificate of origin were popularized during the workshop. The businesses also provided feedback on difficulties in import, export, services, and investment.

Vietnam signed three FTAs with ASEAN, including ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA), ASEAN-China Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA), and ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Agreement (AKFTA), let alone the ASEAN Japan Comprehension Economic Partnership (AJCEP).
