Seminar on Vietnam’s wood processing industry planning held

Agro-Forestry-Aquatic Products Processing, Trading and Salt Industries Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development organized a seminar on “Feedback on the draft of Vietnam’s wood processing industry planning” in Quy Nhon on December 17.

The department’s representatives briefed the participants on the draft of Vietnam’s wood processing industry planning until 2015 with an orientation to 2025”

The wood processing sector has strongly developed in the past 10 years and ranked as first among forest products in Vietnam.

However, the sector is now facing many difficulties and showing some shortcomings, requiring the timely planning to resolve the challenges and help it develop stably and sustainably.
