A two-storey building with 8 classrooms was started to be built yesterday (Dec.19) at Nhon Binh No.2 primary school.

The construction is expected to finish within five months with the total capital of over VND3.1 billion, of which the Central Vietnam Calamities Relief Fund donates VND1.8 billion and the municipal People’s Committee contributes the rest.

The building will also include two labs for computer and English language learning. It is designed to become a shelter for the locals when floods come.

Established since 2009, the Fund has mobilized many bodies and benefactors to support the construction of 26 schools, medical clinics, and cultural houses in 14 coastal central provinces.

The Fund had also helped build a primary school in Cat Nhon commune, Phu Cat district and it will continue its support for the construction of another primary school in Phuoc Hoa commune, Tuy Phuoc district.
