Wood processing sector grows 40 pct

A conference held by the Forest Products Association of Binh Dinh (FPA Binh Dinh) took place in Quy Nhon on December 18 with the participation of 80 enterprises.

The local wood processing businesses have made all-out efforts to overcome difficulties and shown signs of recovery, according to Nguyen An Diem, Chairman of FPA Binh Dinh.

The businesses saw the growth rate of over 40 percent this year, accounting for 60 percent of the whole province’s export turnover value.

The participating enterprises will promote cooperation, relationship between suppliers and manufacturers as well as labor distribution among businesses in 2011.
