25,211 jobs generated to laborers

Binh Dinh Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs held a meeting to review the job generation and labor export in 2010 and the 2011’s tasks yesterday.

According to the report, the province’s laborers were offered 25,211 job vacancies in 2010, including 506 people working abroad.

Nearly 33,000-35,000 people are forecast to be at working age next year, let alone 20,000 unemployed people, thousands of demobilized soldiers and student graduated from vocational training schools.

About 25,000 jobs are expected to be generated in 2011, according to the Department.

Attending the meeting, provincial Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh asked the functional bodies to successfully carry out the key tasks in 2011, particularly in fields of job generation, vocational training, and labor export.
