16 houses built for flood victims

The Thanh Nien newspaper’s representative hands the financial assistance of VND480 million to the province’s Youth Association.

The Vietnam’s Youth Association’s affiliate in Binh Dinh and Thanh Nien newspaper kicked off the construction of a house for Trinh Thi Truc’s family in Hoai Phu commune, Hoai Nhon district on December 21.

The Thanh Nien newspaper’s readers donated a total of VND480 million to build 16 houses for families suffering serious damage during the floods in districts of Hoai Nhon, Hoai An, An Lao, Tuy Phuoc, and Phu Cat.

Also, responding to the “Towards flood victims” campaign, a sum of VND30 million was donated to build a house for a family whose old house had completely collapsed in Binh Lam hamlet, Phuoc Hoa commune, Tuy Phuoc district.
