A meeting was held on December 27, reviewing this year’s national defense and implementing the 2011’s tasks.

Outstanding bodies and individuals were honored at the meeting.

Major General Nguyen Trong Huy, Deputy Commander of Military Zone No.5, provincial Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh, and other leaders attended the meeting.

In 2010, Binh Dinh People’s Committee has effectively steered relevant bodies to implement the national defense tasks, reaping good results.

Accordingly, the aggregate strength of the country and the national cohesion was brought into play, helping build a whole-people defense disposition, increase military strength and consolidate the national solidarity.

The provincial Military Headquarters, Border Guard Headquarters, and Public Security forces have played an important role in maintaining political stability, security and safety as well as public order.

The meeting also focused on the 2011’s tasks, including the implementation of the Party’s Resolutions and Instructions on national defense, the construction of the whole-people defense disposition, and the local budget for national defense tasks and military rear policy.

Outstanding bodies and individuals who greatly contributed to the national defense tasks were honored at the meeting.
