The management board for the agriculture competitiveness project on Dec.28 organized a workshop on implementing its first component – the enhancement of agricultural technology.
The workshop evaluated the agriculture production, difficulties, and opportunities as well as the demand for the identification and implementation of applied research and the dissemination of proven technologies that are cost-efficient, responsive to market demands and incentives, and enhance the environmental sustainability of increasingly competitive farming practices.
The agricultural technology enhancement component, which is funded by WB, will be implemented in Quy Nhon and other districts with the total capital of over US$8 million.
