At present, 20 ODA projects have being implemented in the central province of Binh Dinh, including 7 managed by the province and 13 owned by ministries and central bodies.

In 2009, a total of VN392.3 billion (US$21 million) in ODA was disbursed, accounting for 70 percent of the yearly target.

However, some projects still saw low disbursement rate, such as Vietnam Land Administration Project (VLAP) or the project on upgrading the rural transport network in central Vietnam (ADB5).

One new ODA project, namely “Binh Dinh water supply and sanitation”, will be implemented this year with the capital of EURO 8.95 million. Also, the “improvement of living standards in the town of Phu My through access to running water” and “land and environment management” projects are expected to finish in 2010.
