Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh on Feb. 5 visited VSA (Volunteer Service Abroad) representative office in Binh Dinh on the occasion of the New Zealand’s National Day (Waitangi Day) (Feb. 6, 1840-2009) and the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) Festival.
Binh extended the best greetings to VSA volunteers working in Binh Dinh, expressing many thanks for their contributions to development programs in fields of health, education and training, agriculture, and aquatic products.
She also emphasized VSA volunteers’ role as a bridge closing ties between Binh Dinh and New Zealand.
Head of VSA representative office Nguyen Phuoc thanked the province’s government for their support for VSA volunteers, expressing their happiness to the success of voluntary projects in Binh Dinh, promising that VSA will try its best for the operation in 2010.
Leaders of Departments of Health, Agriculture and Rural Development, Education and Training; Vietnam-New Zealand Friendship Association in Binh Dinh, provincial Red Cross Society also extended their greetings to VSA volunteers.
