The delegation of the New Zealand’s International Aid and Development Agency (NZAID) headed by its Development Programme Manager, Andrea Fairbairn, paid a working visit to the central province of Binh Dinh on March 22.
Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province Ho Quoc Dung received the delegation.
Provincial Vice Chairman Dung briefed them on the province’s socio-economic situation and the results of the sustainable rural livelihood project and the “Early Childhood Care and Education” (ECCE) project.
Accordingly, the ECCE project has finished, meeting the sponsor’s requirements whilst the sustainable rural livelihood project has being effectively implemented.
Mrs. Andrea Fairbairn highly appreciated the province’s cooperation in carrying out the NZAID’s projects, saying that two sides would continue implementing the locally-produced clean vegetable project in 2010.
Also, on the occasion, NZAID was awarded the Ministry of Education and Training’s certificate of merit and Campaign Medal for its contribution to Vietnam’s education sector.
