Provincial leaders receive New Zealand ambassador

Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Vu Hoang Ha, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province Nguyen Van Thien and Provincial Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh received New Zealand’s Ambassador to Vietnam, Ms Heather Mhairi Riddell, on April 12.

During the reception, the provincial leaders expressed many thanks to the New Zealand’s Government for its helps in Binh Dinh, particularly in fields of health, education and training, and agriculture.

The provincial leaders briefed the New Zealand’s Ambassador on the province’s socio-economic situation, expressing the hope that she will call on New Zealand’s investors to seek investment opportunities in Binh Dinh.

Ms Heather Riddell affirmed the close relation between New Zealand and Vietnam in general and Binh Dinh in particular, saying that the New Zealand’s Government always gives Binh Dinh special attention.
