Provincial Chairman Thien works with municipal leaders
14:48', 16/4/ 2010 (GMT+7)

Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province Nguyen Van Thien held a meeting with the leaders of Quy Nhon Municipal People’s Committee on April 15.

According to the report, the city’s economic sector gained considerable growth in the first quarter this year; however, there still existed some shortcomings in fields of granting of land use right certificate, land clearance, and city planning.

Provincial Chairman Thien acknowledged its growth in the first quarter, asking the municipal leaders to focus on some key tasks in the coming time, such as adjusting the overall city planning, building regulations on managing the first-grade city, and promoting trade and services.

He emphasized that not only municipal bodies but provincial agencies must have responsibilities to make the city better.

On the same day, provincial Chairman Thien also held a meeting with businesses located in Binh Dinh.

Many businesses reported difficulties affecting their operation. The infrastructure construction in some industrial zones hasn’t been completed.

Thien confirmed that solving difficulties to help businesses is given priority. Accordingly, functional bodies will strengthen the land clearance and infrastructure construction. The administrative reform must be carried out more effectively, creating favourable conditions for businesses.
