The province’s revolutionary doctors gathered in Quy Nhon city on April 25, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Liberation of South Vietnam. Permanent Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province Le Huu Loc attended the meeting.

More than 700 revolutionary doctors reviewed the nation’s magnanimous history and their memories of the revolutionary wars as well as the development of the province’s health sector.

Hundreds of medical practitioners bravely laid down their life for the country’s independence and thousands were wounded or infected by toxic chemicals.

At the meeting, provincial Vice Chairman Loc delivered a speech, emphasizing the significance of the Great Spring Victory 1975. He also acknowledged revolutionary doctors’ achievements during the revolutionary wars in Binh Dinh.

Their contribution has helped the province’s health sector develop strongly, Loc said.

He expressed the hope that the revolutionary medical practitioners will continue to be pioneers in the health sector, contributing to its development in the future.
