The municipal People’s Committee coordinated with the Globalization Research Center (GRC), a research unit of the University of Hawaii, to organize a workshop on “capacity building for city planning for industry and tourism development” in Quy Nhon on May 14.
The GRC’s director James H.Spencer and his counterparts presented their studies on the city’s natural features and social-economic conditions.
They then suggested a model of a “green city”, helping Quy Nhon develop sustainably in the future.
Participants also talked about the city planning in the coming time, aimed at preserving its traditional features.
