The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province has dispatched the official document No 1879/UBND-TM to the Ministry of Trade and Industry’s trade promotion agency on June 8, reporting the expenditure for the 2009’s trade promotion and the 2010’s plan.

Accordingly, the province’s total expenditure for the trade promotion activities last year was over 1 billion VND, of which 444 million VND was used for fairs abroad, 268 million VND for domestic fairs, 40 million VND for e-trade application, 39 million VND for manpower training, and 50 million VND for the “Vietnamese goods week” program.

According to this year’s plan, nearly 1.8 billion VND will be required for the province’s trade promotion activities, including fairs abroad, the support for businesses and cooperatives joining fairs, the information about trade issues, the construction of woodwork transaction floor, and the “Give priority to Vietnamese goods” campaign.
